It was customary to dig up the bones of those who where dead to make room for others. But no one ever dared to move his, they remain undisturbed. During Shakespeare's life he wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets. He was also an actor who acted in is own plays, as well of other play writers.
Suicide occurs an unlucky thirteen times in Shakespeare's plays such as [Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar].
It was illegal for women to perform in stage during Shakespeare 's lifetime. So all the roles for females where written for boys. It was only much later, during the Restoration, that the first woman appeared on an English stage.

William Shakespeare the author of, "Taming of the Shrew","Hamlet","Romeo and Julet","Macbeth" and thousands more. An amazing fact about his writings his that he never got any credit for them, because people started reading after this death Shakespeare died April 24 (which was also his birthday).Shakespeare had 3 children one named Susanna and twins named Judith and Hamnet. Hamnet who died of unknown causes at age 11. After the twins were born there's 7years of Shakespear's unrecorded for. Most of his plays had at least one death included some how in his plays.

ReplyDeleteThere are interesting facts about Shakespeare the play Romeo and Juliet that people dont usually know. For example, the original title for the play was going to be " The most excellent and lamentable tragedy of Romeo and Juliet". And Romeo and Juliet was the first play about "romantic love". There are many interesting facts about Shakespeare that many people do not know. For one, a lot of his signatures were different. He spelled his name,“Willm Shaksp,” “William Shakespe,” “Wm Shakspe,” “William Shakspere,” ”Willm Shakspere,” and “William Shakspeare," but never “William Shakespeare.” Another interesting thing about him was that almost nothing is know about his 154 sonnets. Lastly, the fact that suicide occurs 13 times in Shakespeare's plays. It happens in Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar and Brutus' wife Portia. This information can really give a lot of people background on who William Shakespeare was and what he was all about.

What I am writing about is a little bit information that I found interesting about Romeo and Juliet and a bit of Shakespeare . Shakespeare was born in April 1564 and died in 23rd April 1616 . He had several siblings . "Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway had three children together – a son, Hamnet, who died in 1596, and two daughters, Susanna and Judith. His only granddaughter Elizabeth – daughter of Susanna – died childless in 1670. Shakespeare therefore has no descendants." - William Shakespeare facts . "In the nineteenth century, Romeo and Juliet was performed with relatively little dramatic alteration, and it became one of Shakespeare's most-produced plays and a mainstay of the English stage. " and That Romeo and Juliet was one of the most popular plays of the century . And that was a little bit of information that I found about Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare .

Shakespeare has wrote many plays and poems and most of them people don't know about. William Shakespeare's father was prosecuted four times for illegal activities. Also,Shakespeare's sonnets are usually often self-loathing, bitter, and even homoerotic, and sonnet's are typically love poems. Another fact is that "William never published any of his plays. We read his plays today only because his fellow actors John Hemminges and Henry Condell, posthumously recorded his work as a dedication to their fellow actor in 1623, publishing 36 of William’s plays. This collection known as The First Folio is the source from which all published Shakespeare books are derived and is an important proof that he authored his plays." Lastly, William Shakespeare inspires many people till this very day. http://facts.randomhistory.com/2009/01/11_shakespeare.html http://www.absoluteshakespeare.com/trivia/facts/facts.htm

What I have found interesting about William Shakespeare is that he is a man of many trades. Not only does he speak Latin, he knew a little bit of Greek as well. Shakespeare invented thousands of words, often combining or contorting Latin, French and native roots. Some includes such words as: arch-villain, birthplace, bloodsucking, courtship, dewdrop, downstairs, fanged, heartsore, hunchbacked, leapfrog, misquote, pageantry, radiance, schoolboy, stillborn, watchdog, and zany. You can call him a creator. Shortly after 1585 he went to London to begin his apprenticeship as an actor. In 1594, he joined the Lord Chamberlain's company of actors. He wrote more than 30 plays.
ReplyDeleteShakespeare, a multilinguist, actor, creator and play writer.

ReplyDeleteShakespeare lived to 52. It is known that he was born in April 1564 and that he died on 23rd April 1616. We know that he was baptized on 26th April 1564 and scholars now believe that he was born on April 23rd. He therefore died on his fifty-second birthday, coinciding with St George’s Day. How fitting that the great English writer is so closely identified with the patron saint of England!
